Car Enthusiast & Nature loving in every way.

A message from our Founder

I didn’t start Pod to Power to build a program.
I started it because I lived the gap.

When I set out to grow cacao in the continental United States, I was told no—repeatedly.
I went to universities, including my own alma mater, and was met with skepticism, doubt, and, at times, outright dismissal. The message was clear: this isn’t possible—and certainly not by you.

But I believed in it anyway.

I’m a single mother of three, and everything I build is for them—for their future, for what they believe is possible, and for the kind of leadership they carry into the world. My children have been part of this journey from the beginning. They’ve seen the plants grow, the challenges, the failures, and the wins. They understand what it means to believe in something before anyone else does.

And along the way, I realized something important:

You only know what you know.
And without someone willing to guide you, open a door, or simply say “I believe in you,” even the best ideas can stop before they ever begin.

Pod to Power was built to be that difference.

This foundation exists to help people take what may feel like an impossible idea and turn it into something real—through education, mentorship, and access to opportunities they may not even know exist yet. Cacao became our anchor—not because it’s easy, but because it proves that “impossible” is often just unexplored.

I built this from the ground up—on my own, with no roadmap—because I had to. But my goal is to make sure others don’t have to do it alone.

We are working toward building a place where people can come to learn, to grow, and to believe again—a modern take on the one-room schoolhouse, where education, agriculture, and real-world application come together.

If I can do this, so can you.

And if you’re willing to dream it—we’re here to help you build it.
